The wrong model for your casting ability can lead to great disappointment. So please contact us for advice if you are not sure or have any questions. If phoning please ask for Nick or Simon, we will give you, as much time as you need and the very best advice we can, there will be no pressure to buy at any point. We prefer you to take your time and have all the information before purchasing. We will recommend only rods that we feel will suit you best which may even be a Zziplex we have in stock at the time! Nick has 20 years of Zziplex knowledge and is one of their original main dealers. Simon owns to many Zziplex rods to tell his wife about and fishes all types of fishing grounds. He also holds his 240-yard badge. We can supply many Zziplex blanks and fully built rods from stock, we are happy to ship internationally and offer a next day fully insured UK mainland service. We do not promise to have every Zziplex available at all times but usually have 20-30 fully built rods in stock. All our shop rods are built by Chris Dance to the Summerlands own very special specification. This includes rod whippings in the Zziplex colours, Fuji BNOG rings (Alconites as standard on some models) Zziplex coasters, Zziplex Shrink Tube, Fuji butt cap and comes to you in a genuine Titan Rod Cover. Fixed spool rods have genuine Fuji reel fitting in place of the coasters. Rods and Blanks are dispatched in a hardened plastic shipping tube and travel using an express fully insured service. Please note do not charge your credit card until your rod is ready to ship. Rod Building. Our rod builder is Chris Dance, an independent rod builder who has a long association wit Terry Carroll of Zziplex. Chris’s work is much sought after and he justly has an international rod building reputation. Chris offers a totally bespoke service to Summerlands so we can offer you all manner of custom and decorative finishes if required. Chris also offers an amazing Zziplex restoration service, which entails the complete stripping of the rod and blank surface, a new surface is then applied. The rebuilding then includes new Zziplex graphics, new rings and fittings finished to your specification producing a restored Zziplex, which will amaze you. When we receive a delivery from Chris the rebuilt rods have to be labeled as rebuilt, yes the finish rebuild is as new! |
